Arthur Boyce of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital with family by his side on Wednesday, June 17th, 2009.

Born in Amherst, NS, December 22nd, 1922, he was the son of the late George and Cordelia (Brown) Boyce. A veteran of the Second World War, Art served with the RCAF with Supply & Support. He was retired from Mutual Life of Canada, was an active member of Gunningsville Baptist Church, and was a founding member of Amherst Toast Masters. He was proud to have been a Returning Officer during many elections. Art's passions were fishing, fly tying, rod making, and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by a dear friend, Geraldine "Gerry" Campbell, son Glenn Boyce (Joy) of Riverview, daughter Lynne Mollins (Blaine) of Moncton, grandchildren Gregory, Quintin, Kevin, Sara, Jessi, Meghan, Ben, Drew and Simon, as well as five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Art was predeceased by his wife Jessie E. (Kaye) Boyce and his sister Anna McGinley.

Visitation held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, June 21st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service held at 2:00 pm in Gunningsville Baptist Church, 160 Old Coach Road, Riverview, on Monday, June 22nd 2009, Pastor Blair Holden presiding, followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment in Midgic Cemetery, Midgic, NB.
