Faye was born July 31, 1926, in St. Joseph.
She married Norman Tittsworth; and they had two daughters.
Then she married Herman Wesley Caw in 1985. He passed away on Jan. 16, 2000.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Opal (Hayes) Phinney; brother, Merle Phinney; and sister, Betty Henderson.
Faye was of the Christian faith. She was a member and past president of the V.F.W. Post No. 1668 Auxiliary and past president of the M.O.C. Auxiliary.
She was a homemaker and worked for H.D. Lee in St. Joseph for several years.
Faye loved playing bingo and spending time with her dogs.
Survivors include daughters, Sandra Carleton, and husband, Timothy, Liberty; and Shari Young, Holden, Mo.; brother, Don Phinney of Florida; four grandchildren, Phillip, Nicole, Brandon and Michelle; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service: 1 p.m. Monday, Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation: begins after 9 a.m. Sunday, at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
