"John J. Casey, age 83, of Crystal, formerly of Brooklyn Center. Preceded in death by daughter Maggie. Survived by wife, Virginia; daughters, Cindy (Chris) Widstrand, and Katie (Jim) Perry; grandchildren, Alex and Emily Widstrand and David, Michael, and Stephen Perry, and sister, Jannine (Thomas) Frank. Service Friday 11 am at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Visitation TODAY 5-7 pm at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, and 1 hour prior atchurch. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Evans-Nordby 763-533-3000"
