Stephen Ray Wilson, 59, of Velma died in a one-vehicle accident Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009.
Graveside funeral srvices were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at Drake-Nebo cemetery in Drake officiated by the Rev. Andrew Jenkins, under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Steve was born Feb. 7, 1950, to Olin and Dorothy (Deaver) Wilson in Visalia, Calif. He was a 1968 graduate of Velma-Alma High School and attended Southeastern Oklahoma University and the University of Oklahoma. He was a cattle rancher in the Velma area.
Steve is survived by his daughters, Melissa McKee and husband, Brent, of Woodward, and Emily Koch and husband, Derrik, of Davis; a son, Travis Daniels of Velma; three grandchildren, Breona Martin, Samara Whittenburg and Tailor Koch; his mother, Dorothy Wilson of Velma; a sister, Alice Davenport and husband, Warren, of Duncan; a nephew, Bradley Davenport of Oklahoma City, and a niece, Andrea Davenport of Duncan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Olin Wilson.
