Funeral service for Murphy Joseph Miller, 59, of Rt. 1 box 1186-A were at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, in Hammer Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Edward Degeyter officiated. Burial was in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe (Cloe).
A rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Miller died at 4:20 a.m. Thursday at his residence.
A native of Chataigner, he was a member of Carpenters Local 953.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Mae Miller, two daughters, Mrs. Floretta Pettifield of Lake Charles and Mrs. Garland Ann Chandler of Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Murphy Miller, Jr. of Miami, Fla., and Roy Lee Ogea of Sulphur; two sisters, Mrs. Merza Marcantel of Basile and Mrs. Alcina Fuselier of Elton; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
