Calvin Aaron Jones Jr., 79, of Paris, brother of Richard Jones of Clarksville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, in Paris.

He was a retired poultry farmer, affiliated with the Church of Christ, and son of the late Calvin Aaron and Annie K. Webb Jones.

Survivors include his widow, Clorene Jones; one daughter, Dena Chronister of Russellville; one son, Dale Jones of Paris; three sisters, Vivian Jones of Riverside, Calif., Sue Miller of Elk City, Okla., and Kathy Howard of Fort Smith; five other brothers, Melvin Jones and Tommy Jones of Vallejo, Calif., K. C. Jones of Kansas City, Kan., Roy Jones of Lavaca, and Wayne Jones of Dodge City, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Amanda Newman of Midway and Kris Jones of Paris.

The body was cremated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
