Georgiana Loucks

Georgiana (Georgia) Loucks died Wednesday at a local convalescent center. She lived at 430 Burnaby Ave. She was born in Brownsville, Minn., Aug. 9, 1883. She married Chester A. Loucks in 1905 and moved to Seattle. The family moved to the Olympia area in 1919. Mr. Loucks died in June, 1973.

Mrs. Loucks was a lifetime church and Sunday school worker and had been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for 43 years. She had been a member of the Olympia Chapter of W.C.T.U.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jean Schlottmann, Mrs. Sybil Leach, Mrs. May Trowbridge and Dorothy Watson, all of Olympia; also eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held in the Westminster United Presbyterian Church Friday 3 p.m. under the direction of Selen and Eros Mortuary. The Reverand Charles Loyer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Olympic Memorial Gardens.
