in Sumter, S.C. She was formerly of Erie.
She is the widow of Lloyd Gardner,
who died in 1965. She was born June 22, 1895
in Greene Township, the daughter of the late
Gottfried and Mary Krasnesky.
She is survived by four sons;
Lt. Col. Kenneth L. Gardner, Ret., Sumter, S.C.;
Howard of Graceville, Fla.; with whom she made
her home; Theodore, of Placentia, Calif.;
a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Etta) Briggs, of
Fairview, two brothers, George Krasnesky of
Moline, Ind.; Henry Krasnesky of Wesleyville;
two sisters, Mrs. Helen Miller, Erie, and
Mrs. Louise Blakeslee of California;
fifteen grandchildren and eighteen greatgrandchildren.
Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
