LAPORTE - Services for Russell LeRoy Allsup. 76, of Rt. 2. Box 121, Walkerton, who died at 2:30 p.m. Monday at his home following a sudden illness, was at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Haverstock Chapel. Rev. Verl Lehman, pastor of the Fish Lake Mennonite Church, officiated.

He was born Aug. 30, 1900 in Rolling Prairie. He was married March 1926 in South Bend to Thelma Duncan, who survives.

Also surviving ire a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas of Valparaiso; a step-brother, William Palmer of Valparaiso; a step-sister, Mrs. Marshall Lawrence of LaPorte; and a half-brother, Robert Allup.

Four brothers, one sister, two step-sisters and two-half brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Christian Church of Rolling Prairie.
