Dr. Daniel Joseph Clark, 66, formerly of Sterling,Colo. died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993.
Funeral service was today, Aug. 16, 1993, in Sun City, Calif. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Omaha, Neb.
Dr. Clark was in the U.S. Army from 1944-46.
Dr. Clark received his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., in 1952 and interned at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha. He was in family practice in Sterling from 1953-84 with Dr. Carl Manganaro. He retired in 1984. He played golf and was a member of the Sterling Country Club,Lazy Daze Caravan Club, Good Samaritan Wolf Pak Sams Camping Club, Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City, Calif., and the first president of Sterling St. Anthony Church Council.
He was a member of the American Medical Society of Colorado and the Nebraska Medical Society. He was also a diplomat in the American Academy of Family Physicians. He served on the board of directors of the Friends of Wewak in New Guine and was a former chief of staff of Logan County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Clark of Sun City, Calif; daughters Mary Ann Clark Gorski of Houston, Texas and Peggy Pavlik of Omaha, Neb.; sister Molly Diefenback of East Aurora, N.Y.; brother David Clark of East Aurora, N.Y. and two grandchilthen.
