Roger Allen Curry died Aug. 28, 2009, at the Bob Stump VA Medical Center, Prescott, Ariz., with his wife at his side. He was born March 3, 1946, in Peoria, Ill., the son of Leonard and Flossie (Burrus) Curry. Roger was 63 years old.

Roger served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a machinist for Caterpillar. Roger and his wife Pam also owned and operated Quality Affordable Landscaping for five years, serving the tri-city area. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, and he loved music and helping others. Roger was most proud of his loving wife of five years, Pam, and his family and close friends.

Roger is survived by his wife Pam; three estranged children; step-son Jeff Palmer of Peoria, Ill.; and stepdaughters Porsche Nicole Williams of Blythe, Calif., and Chanel L.S. Williams of San Antonio, Texas. Survivors also include his stepmother, Mary Curry of Peoria, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Braydin and Italy. Roger was preceded in death by his parents.


Private cremation will take place with inurnment at a later date at Prescott National Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz.

Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
