HOLLANSBURG -- Dalton J. Mikesell, 53 years old, died suddenly at his home, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Thursday.
The first 40 years of Mr. Mikesell's life were spent in the Hollansburg, Ohio community, after which he moved to Zephyrhills, Fla. where he married and established residence.
In January of 1942 he joined the shore patrol of the navy and at the time of his death was still in military service. Mr. Mikesell served with the 37th division during World War I.
Survivors are the widow Rose, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Brothers Ernest E. Mikesell, of Dayton, and Dr. Hobart L. Mikesell, of West Liberty, Ohio
His stepmother Mellie Mikesell, of Greenville, Ohio
Half sister Enid Wills, of Toledo, Ohio
Half brothers Ellswroth M. Mikesell, Hollansburg, Ohio, and Delmar and Kermit Mikesell, both of Greenville, Ohio
