Mrs. French 77, of 1521 North Gullick Ave. died at 5:00 o'clock A.M. Yesterday at Mercy Hospital in Urbana, where she had been a patient since October 30th. Mrs. French was born in St. Elmo a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross James, and was married to Herbert W. French, June 10, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri, he died February 14th. 1948. Mrs. French leaves two step sons, Frank French of Metamora, and Russell of Jacksonville, a Stepdaughter, Mrs. Edwin Turner of Pana. She was a member of the Illini Congregational Church. Mrs. French leaves several nieces and nephews, funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. Thursday in the Dawson Funeral Chapel, with burial in the Illini Cemetery, friends may call at the funeral Chapel after 4: P.M. today.
