Born in Texas April 18, 1916, Mr. Alderete lived in and around this area for about 30 years. He was a farm laborer.
A rosary for Mr. Alderete will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Helen's Catholic Church here. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at the church. The Rev. Joseph Gorsuch will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Alderete is survived by his wife, Louisa, of Eloy; five sons, Daniel Jr., of Phoenix, Alfredo and Ricky, of Eloy, Domingo, of Texas, and David, of California; five daughters, Mary Lou Bradley, of Picacho, Angie Salazar, of Casa Grande, Carmen Garcia, of Yuma, Margie and Estella Alderete, both of Eloy; 17 grandchildren; two sisters and five brothers, all out of state.
