Evalyn married Elmer Sidney McCuasland 14 May 1938 in Presbyterian Church, Darby

She was the daughter of Harry Wonderly Palmer and Elsa Carolia Jacobs. Evalyn was baptized in Presbyterian Church, Darby, Pennsylvania

Evalyn: Born & raised in Colwyn; resident of Hersheys Mill, PA; died at Barclay Home in West Chester Pa.

Educated in Darby School District

In 1937, she and her husband opened the McCausland Funeral Home, currently McCausland-Bathurst Funeral Home in Glenolden, where they resided while they raised their 3 children.

In 1970, they moved to Wallingford where they lived until moving to Hersheys Mill in 1983;

Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Glenolden & Springhaven Club in Wallingford where she loved playing golf, tennis & bridge; was instrumental in having tennis courts built in the Glenolden Park.

Former member of the Chester County Historical Society

Wife of the late Elmer S McCausland who died in 1984;
