He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Margaret Risse.
Survivors include two sons, Jerome of McLouth, Kans., and Matthew of Lawrence, Kans.; four daughters, Charlotte Opper of Fremont, Calif., Sylvia Rollins and Marilyn Zeiler, both of Fort Smith, and Irene Intres of Van Buren; one brother, Herman of Altus; two sisters, Anna Parker of Ozark and Margaret Sexton of Charleston; 28 grandchildren and nine great-grand children.
A rosary service was held Tuesday at Shaffer Funeral Home chapel. Funeral mass was recited Wednes- day at St. Mary's church by Father John Walbe. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Contributor: David McClellan (47460918)
