Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder for three teams in five years in the major leagues. He broke in with the St. Louis Cardinals, playing with them from 1904 through 1906. He played with the New York Giants from 1906 through 1908 and finished out 1908 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2,613 plate appearances, he batted a modest .259 with 183 runs batted in. In 1907 he was the National League leader in runs scored.
