Francis Marion Plumlee was born November 12, 1865, in Missouri, moving near Tuttle, Oklahoma, in 1908 where he resided until his passing on May 19, 1946. He was united in marriage to Hulda Jane Goforth on April 24, 1892, and they had 6 boys and 3 girls, 1 girl passing in infancy and 1 son, Hugh, departed life on December 26, 1945. The sons are: Pat of Noble, OK, Roy, C.P., Jess, and Ray of Tuttle, and the daughters are: Mrs. L.H. (Alma) Hestand of Watonga, OK, and Mrs. Robert (Julia Chloe) Basinger of Sapulpa, OK, all present. He leaves his wife, 7 children, 30 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Plumlee were held at the Baptist Church in Tuttle, Tuesday, with Rev W.J. Hart officiating. Pallbearers were: Joe Hartin, P.M. Cooley, Benny Douglas, G.H. Burris, Paul McGee, and Earl Tate.

Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery at Tuttle under the direction of the Sowers Funeral Home.
