Albert Joseph "A.J." Curlee Jr, 80, died Saturday. Services 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, First Baptist Church, Tuttle, Oklahoma. (Sevier).

Funeral for Albert Joseph (A.J.) Curlee Jr, 80, Tuttle, was held Tuesday, February 8, 1994, in the First Baptist Church, Tuttle, with Rev. Alvin McConnell officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Larry Steverson. Thelma Marlow was organist, Brenda Williams was pianist. Singers were Denise Robinett and Debbie French. Pallbearers were Kent Curlee, Chet Curlee, Aaron Tatum, Abb Curlee, Kirt Gambill, Mike Turner. Honorary Pallbearers were Elbert Bazhaw, Leonard Defibaugh, Junior White, Kevin Wilson, and Junior Cruzan. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral for Albert Joseph (A.J.) Curlee Jr, 80, Tuttle, was held Tuesday, February 8, 1994, in The First Baptist church, Tuttle, with Rev. Larry Steverson officiating.

Albert Joseph (A.J.) Curlee was born January 19, 1914, in Clarksville, TX., the son of Albert Joseph and Martha Snyder Curlee Sr. He died Saturday, February 0, 1994, at Chickasha, Oklahoma.

He had lived in Tuttle since 1928, and had farmed all of his life. He married Genevieve Hardesty, November 20, 1934 at El Reno, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 1991.

Mr. Curlee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle, the Tuttle Roundup Club, and the Senior Citizens in Tuttle.

He was also preceded in death by twin sons, Donald and Ronald Curlee in 1938 and 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include one son, Gary and wife Penny (Parks) Curlee of Bethany; one daughter, Judy and husband Alvin Tatum of Marlow; one brother, M.G. Curlee of Wharton, Texas; two sisters, Ethel Gray of Clarksville, Texas, and Vera Poteet of Mt. Vernon, Texas; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
