Mrs. Clara Mae Elliott, 53, of 35 E. Ninth St., died Friday at Chillicothe Hospital. She had been ill 18 months. Born in Jefferson Township, Ross County, on July 16, 1900, she was a daughter of James and Mary Hollis Downing.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Elliott; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian "Bonnie" West; two sons, Neal and Jack; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Tomlinson, Mrs. Ethel Davis, and Nellie Downing; two brothers, Earl and Elmer; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the Root Funeral Home, with the Rev. W. F. Crum officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
