Jasper R. Woodham Succumbs to Long Illness Wednesday

Mr. Jasper R. Woodham, age 73, died at his home on Ozark route 3 yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock following a long illness. Mr. Woodham was one of Dale County's best citizens. He had been in declining health for a number of years. His death removes from, our midst a most useful citizen.

The deceased is survived by three sons, L. S., H. R., and R. M. Woodham; seven daughters, Mrs. T. O. Woodham, Mrs. E. E. Pilcher, Mrs. Gordon Skipper, Mrs. Tulley Paramore, Mrs. Jewell Baldwin, Miss Laura Mae Woodham and Miss Minnie Lee Woodham; two brothers, J. C. and R. A. Woodham; also twenty-nine grand children and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Ewell church, Rev. Jeter Baldwin officiating. Holman was in charge of arrangements.
