MAYODAN Mr. Paul Williamson Alley, 73, of 101 Long St., died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Moses Cone Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mayodan Municipal Cemetery.
Mr. Alley was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County. He was a Marine and Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Margaret Alley; brother, Dallas Alley; and sister, Lucille Alley and Helen Connelly.
Mr. Alley is survived by one brother, Reginald M. Alley of Mayodan. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at the home of Reginald Alley, 103 Long St., Mayodan
