Dollie was a life long resident of Jefferson County. She was a Worthy Grand Matron Order of Eastern Star Chapter 116, Grand Ruth Order of Eastern Star for the State of Florida, and Jefferson County High School PTA President. Dollie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello.
She is survived by three sons: Robert L. Fountain, III (Jeanette) of Monticello, Wallace Terry Fountain (Bo) of Tallahassee, and Jack W. Fountain (Gloria) of Live Oak; One sister, Flora Jacobs of Renton, WA. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dollie Ruth (Banks) Reed; her father, Lyle N. Reed, Sr.; her brother, Lyle N. Reed, Jr.; and her husband of 58 years, Robert L. Fountain, Jr.
Vistitation was Monday, April 17th, 2006 at Beggs Funeral Home Monticello Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
Services were held Tuesday, April 18th, 2006, 2:00pm at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello, Florida. Interment followed at Roseland Cemetery.
