Officers said Boyd drowned while swimming with his family. the body was recovered Sunday night.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. D.J. Boyd of Jackson; three sons, Daniel James, William Clayborn and David Lee, all of Jackson; three daughters, Carol Ann, Janie Sue, and Gail Louise, all of Jackson; his mother, Mrs. Serna A. Boyd, Napa, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Wager, Napa, Calif., and Mrs. J.O. Wilson, Harlingen, Tex., and one brother, William Clayborn Boyd, Cheyenne, Wyo.
Funeral services will be held at the Baldwin Chapel in Jackson on Thursday at 2 p.m., with interment in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
