Harvey W. Ryan
Harvey W. Ryan, 80, 305 E. Windsor Rd., died Friday morning (June 3, 1988) in Memorial Hospital. He was born March 3, 1908 in Mankato to William and Lydia Lavina Fertune Ryan and was reared in the Mankato area.
He was married to Verena Catherine Weber Aubert in 1971 in Winfield. They made their home in Arkansas City. He was a retired employee of General Electric working in the rework department.
Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons, Harvey W. Ryan jr., of Kinsley and Everett L. Ryan of Clay Center, four daughters, Joan Harding, Arkansas City, June Chautau of Miami, Okla., Joy and Sherry, four step-sons, Gerald E. Aubert of Happy Camp, Calif., Ben Aubert of Winfield, George B. Aubert of Topeka and Duane Aubert of Wellington, one step-daughter, Faye Deschner of Topeka, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Copeland.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 6, in the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Riverview cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established to the IXL Baptist Church. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
