Ezra R. Blair, 87, formerly of Cogan House Township, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Rose View Center.

Born June 26, 1924, in Cogan House Township, he was a son of Harvey and Dessie Brynnington Blair.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Ezra worked as a machinist at AVCO and he also worked at area saw mills. He was a member of the Old Time Baptist Church, Loyalsockville. Ezra was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed riding his tractor.

Surviving are his wife Caroline J. (Fink) Blair, together they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on June 27; three children, Darryl Blair (Donna) of Cogan Station, K. Randy Blair (Angela) of Montoursville, and Lisa Blair-West (Mark) of Winter Park, Fla.; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five siblings, Earl, Joseph, and Carl Blair, Margaret Kulp and Bertha Foltz.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will be held in Cogan House Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ezra's name may be made to the Old Time Baptist Church, 4252 Rte. 87, Montoursville, PA 17754.
