Hampton, Oct. 12 – (Special) – Arthur Hemmie Harter, 65, died at his home in Sycamore Monday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside in the Fairfax cemetery at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Monroe Smith and the Rev. J. W. Middleton.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edna Der Harter; one brother, Brook Harter of Florence; and five sisters, Mrs. Eunice Murdaugh of Ferndina Fla., Mrs. Addie Cone of Lodge, Mrs. Inez Bowers of Ferndina, Mrs. Mamie Melton of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Minnie Melton of Charleston.
