Sarah Mae (Arnold) Bolyard, age 70, of Moatsville, WV, died on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Belington, WV.

Sarah was born on February 17, 1937, in Sugar Land, WV, a daughter to the late Charles Daniel and Stella Mae (Sampson) Arnold.

Sarah was a homemaker; she enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers and bird watching. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Marquess.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lindberg Hall Bolyard; one son and spouse, Lyndon Hall and Rebecca Kay Bolyard of Grafton; two daughters and spouses, Rebecca Jane and Herbert Wayne Funk of Winchester, VA, Holly Dawn and Calvin Ray “Bucky” Sisk of Stephen City, VA; four brothers and spouses, Leonard Lee and Brenda Arnold of Parsons, Harry Allen and Billie Arnold of Arizona, John Junior and Frankie Arnold of Hambleton, WV, Clyde Edward and Agnes Arnold of Parsons: five sisters and spouses, Floda Ellen and Chuck Anestin of Baltimore, Genevieve Joy Streets, Barbara Ann Firl of Hambleton, Helen Virginia and Lawrence Russell Lyon of Gladstone, Missouri, Mary Louise and James Dumire of Petersburg; one brother-in-law and spouse, Paul and Phyllis Bolyard of Rowlesburg; one sister-in-law, Dorothy M. Wolfe of Moatsville; three grandchildren, Chad Sisk, Rhiannon Sisk, Lindsay Marie Bolyard; four great-grandchildren, Daniel Lee Sisk, Jeremiah Dean Sisk, Heaven Leigh Dawn Sisk and Allen Ray Sisk; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles William, Arnold; four brothers-in-law, Bobby Dale Streets, Lester Leo Firl, Lee Bolyard and Kermit Bolyard.

Friends and family may call at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home-Taylor Chapel in Newburg, on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 5-9pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Marquess on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Regina Spring officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Marquess.
