Richard "Dick" E. Heise, 84, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Aug. 30, 2009. Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Port Orange Chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Homes with Rev. Joe Putting officiating. Entombment in Volusia Memorial Park followed the service.
Richard was born Feb. 11, 1925 to the late Gerald and Ethel Heise in La Porte.
His family was his greatest treasure. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dear children, Rick Edward, Mark Richard and Laurie Ann; sister, JoAnne Mae and brother, Robert.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in honor of Dick to Tomoka Christian Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, Fla.
