Lanora V. Crites passed away March 16, 1999 after suffering a recent stroke.
She was born in Red Fork, Tulsa, Okla., Dec. 24, 1921, the eldest of nine children born to Bill and Atoka Bacon. She had made her home in Ellensburg since 1946.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her father who died in 1986, her mother who died in 1996, her brothers, Bob who died in 1974 and Jack who died in 1983.
Survivors inlude her two sons, Paul (Kristin) Crites and Bill Crites.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Saturday March 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hal Holmes Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lanora Crites Memorial Fund in care of Yakima Federal, P.o. Box 579, Ellensburg, to be used for needed equipment at the city pool.
