Edward C.DeRemer,64,Cenetery Road,Great Meadows,N.J.,died yesterday in Warren Hospital shortly after admission.Born in Asbury,N.J.,he was a son of the late Walter and Rhoda Putcher DeRemer.Mr.DeRemer was a brakman on the Jersey Cemtral Railroad from 1929 to 1938.He was then employed as a truck driver for the Morgan Lumber Co.,Great Meadows,until 1958.From 1958 to 1971,he drove a truck for the Rogers Produce Co.,Great Meadows.He was of the Methodist faith.Survivors include a sister,Mrs.Ada Quick,with whom he resided and a brother,John,Jersey City.The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m.Sunday at the DeVoe Funeral Home,Washington.Interment will be in Stewartsville Lutheran Cemetery.
