Frances P. Miller, 87, longtime resident of Idaho Falls, died June 3, 1988, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of causes incident to age.
She was born Nov. 21, 1900 at Bridgeport , Neb. to John Henry and Mary Markham Nunn. She started school in Nebraska and came with her parents by covered wagon to Idaho Falls when she was 16. She finished school and grew up here.
She married Herman Henry Drewes Aug. 25, 1921, at Idaho Falls. He died in Jan. 31, 1943. She then married Albert Miller on April 6, 1946. He died Feb. 8, 1971.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the Church.
Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Val (Edna) Johnson of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Garth (Hazel) Johnson of Westminster, Calif. and Mrs. Clark (Lenis) Sinsel of Burley; a son, Richard Drewes of Sacramento, Calif.; six stepdaughters; Dorothy Myers, Elda Tea, Colleen Iverson, Inez Miller, Mrs. Tommy (Luella) Kramer, all of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Alfred (Dory) Weigel of Salt Lake City and a stepson, Franklin Miller of Hemet, Calif.; Two sisters, Ruth Poulter of Idaho Falls and Mrs. Earl (Olive) Wixom of Layton, Utah; 20 grandchildren; 38 step grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two stepsons and a grandson.
Her funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Hugo Hein, pastor, officiating. The family will meet friends Tuesday at the Church for one hour before services. burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Buck-Sullivan Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
