Ephraim E. P. Abbott was the son of machinist, Theodore Thomas Abbott and his wife Mehitabel F. (Greenough) Abbott. He is a graduate of Dartmouth, 1863, and the Andover Theological seminary in 1867. Between those two dates he is principal of McIndoes Academy 1863 to 1865. The Congregational Quartely reports his ordination in 1868, Vol. 10, as occurring on May 6, whern he was also installed as their minister. 1874 to 1884 he serves in Newport, NH followed by Cedar Rapids IA. On 1900 census, he is a clergyman in National Township, San Diego Co., and in 1910 in San Diego ward 9, CA.
