Funeral service for Betty Lois Morrissey, 63, of Anna, Texas, were held on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the Sowers Memorial Chapel.

Betty Lois Morrissey was born April 7, 1945, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ulis Ray and Lois Lonita (Davison) Singletary and died April 23, 2008, in McKinney, Texas.

Betty was raised in Tuttle. She was baptized at the First Baptized Church in Tuttle June 5, 1960. She graduated from Tuttle High School in 1963.

She and John Morrissey were married December 31, 1962, in Oklahoma City. She had lived in Texas for the past two years. She was a past member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, M.G. and Rosie Singletary.

Survivors include her husband John Morrissey of the home in Anna, Texas; two sons: Jeffrey 'Scott' Morrissey and wife, Ricki, of Weston, Texas, and their children, Jeffrey and Micki; Steven Lee Morrissey and wife, Lisa, of Cypress Springs, Texas, and their children, Hanna and Jonathan; parents Ray and Lois Singletary of Tuttle; two brothers. Bill Singletary and wife, Carol, of Cole, and their children, Chris and Kyle Gary Singletary of Tuttle; and his child, Brooke; and an uncle, Leon Davison of Tuttle.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
