Suggested edit: The Jackson Roberts (Memorial #91879667) that you have linked to Newman is NOT his father. The biography states Jackson was married twice, but not to anyone named Lucy. The 1860 Census shows Newman living with his parents, Jackson and Lucy, in Monroe County, Missouri. However, that same year, the Jackson you have linked to him is living in Clay County KY with his wife Nancy confirming the information listed in the biography. Thank you.
