Obituary:
Loren Hodson
Columbia City - Loren Frank Hodson, 78, Columbia City R.R. 5, died at 9:30 pm, Tuesday in Whitley County Hospital where he had been a patient one week. He had been in failing health for several months.
Born Sept. 7th 1892, in Russiaville, he as the son of Ira L. and Sarah (Carson) Hodson. He was married to Philena Brubaker who preceded him death. He later married Zora (Shock) Gripe, who was surviving as of his death.
Other survivors: one son, one step-son, three daughters, six step-daughters, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-granchildren, 21 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday in Hollingsworth Funeral Home, Columbia City. The Revs. James Martin and Hubert Miller will officiate.
Burial will follow in Spring Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Kosciusko County. Friends may call that the funeral home Thursday.
