Clifford R. Jones, 69, died at his home at North Jackson Friday evening after a nine-week illness of a heart ailment. He had lived there for the last 24 years, having moved to North Jackson from Milton township. A farmer all his life, Mr. Jones was born in Jackson township, the son of Renwick and Adeline Foulk Jones, on June 28, 1872. He was married in Newton township, Oct. 28, 1899, to Emma Sinn, who survives him. Besides his widow, survivors are three sons, James F. Jones of North Jackson, Chester Jones of Warren, and Harley Jones of Vernon Center; one daughter, Mrs. Park Eckles of Warren; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Sinn and Mrs. R. D. Schlabaugh of North Jackson, and Mrs. Harvey Kistler of Niles, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Federated Church, of which Mr. Jones was a member, with burial in the North Jackson cemetery. Several from this vicinity attended funeral services for Ford Jones, Monday afternoon in the North Jackson Federated Church.
