Mrs. Wesley S. Hegwood, who for many years lived near Lemon in this county, died at the home of her daughter, Miss Lilla Hegwood at Mize, Friday Aug. 19th at the age of 74 years.

Mrs. Hegwood is survived by two sons; Blackman Hegwood of Lemon and Gaddis Hegwood of Mobile, Ala.; and nine daughters; Mesdames Eula Sumrall and Arie Anderson of Ellisville, Fannie Husband and Delta Tadlock of Lemon, Velma Sumrall of Moselle, Ella Parker of Jackson, Myrtle Daniels of Hattiesburg, Lena Clark and Miss Lilla Hegwood of Mize.

Interment was made in the Goodwater Cemetery by the side of her husband, who preceded her several years ago. Little & Ware of Forest, were in charge of arrangements.
