Leagueville, July 30---Funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon at 4:30 for Connie Mack Adair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Connie Adair. Connie Mack was nine years old. He is survived by his parents, four sisters, one brother and a grandmother and grandfather, and numerous other relatives. Services were conducted by Rev. Mouzon Fletcher of Arp, former pastor of the Methodist Church at New Hope and Brownsboro. He was assisted by Revs. J.B. Stuart and C.N. Tunnel of Brownsboro. Burks walker Funeral Home was in charge. Dear loved ones, weep not. He is at rest. The bereaved have our heartfelt sympathy.

New Hope July 30 --Early Sunday the sad news came that our little friend and neighbor, Connie Mack Adair , had passed away Saturday night at 11:10 at a Dallas hospital. For several weeks he had been very ill, first with typhoid, then meningitis set in. He put up a brave fight, assisted by his family, friends and Doctors who did all possible. On Wednesday he was taken to a Tyler hospital. The next day he was taken to a specialist in Dallas.
Funeral services were at Leagueville Sunday at 5 p.m. conducted by Rev. C.N. Tunnell, Rev. Joe B. Stuart and Rev. G.M. Fletcher of Arp.
He was born September 4, 1935, here and had spent his entire life here. We will miss him at Sunday School each Sunday as he was always there.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Connie Adair, one brother, Harry; four sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Lois Hargett of Houston, Mrs. Marvene Browning of Waco, Helen and Sandra Nell; a grandmother and grandfather and a large number of relatives and friends. He was a bright, affectionate child and to the loved ones we offer our deepest sympathy.
