Cemetery office has records that say this plot is registered for "Frank Cornell" NOT Frank Crowell.This family in the 1900 US Census, Michigan, Wexford County. Frank L. Crowell was age 40 having been born in Illinois in May of 1857. His parents had been born in New York. He owned his farm free and clear. His wife was Beatrice, age 33 and born in Michigan. Her parents were also born in Michigan. They had been married for 20 years, had 7 children and all 7 were alive. Six of their children were still living at home including Adarno C. age 17 born in May of 1883, Melba 13, born in July of 1886, Silvia O. born in June of (not readable) age not readable, D. L. June (age and year not readable), Glen age 5 born in September of 1885, and Mace age 1 born in September of 1898. This mean one child, still alive, but not living at home at the time of the census. Frank's farm was near that of his father and a brother. (Enumeration district 186, sheet 6B).
