Earl W. Moore, Sr., 57. of LaFollette, died Jan. 4.
He professed Christ as his Savior Nov. 30, 1982. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Nora Moore and his brother, R.L. Moore. He was a coal miner and also worked for J.H. Hood Construction Company.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. January 6 at the Cumberland Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Bill Clevenger officiating. Burial was in Bakers Forge.
He is survived by his wife, Wilsie Joe Moore; four sons, Earl Wayne Moore and Stephen W. "Butch" Moore, both of Kokomo, Ind., and Wallace Moore and Terry Lee Moore, both of LaFollette; four sisters, Mossie Whited, Mabel Parker and Grace Hammitte, all of Michigan, and Alma Morgan of Stinking Creek; a brother, Kenneth Moore of Taylor, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.
