Eugene M. HISEY, 77, R.R. 2, Argos, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday in the Marshall county hospital in Plymouth. Born Nov. 10, 1894, in the Richland Center community, he was the son of Samuel M. and Laura May EMMONS HISEY. His marriage was Aug. 23, 1921, at Elkhart, to Angeline HUTCHISON, who survives. A retired farmer, he had resided in the Argos community most of his life. He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Argos, 50-year member of the American Legion, Argos, and the VFW at Plymouth. He was a veteran of World War I and a former employee of the Western Union and the Argos Telephone company. Also surviving are one son, Eugene HISEY Jr., of Plymouth; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Marie) BARDSLEY, Kokomo, and Mrs. Georgianna GONCE, Argos; two grandchildren. Two brothers preceded in death. Final rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Grossman funeral home in Argos. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. The Argos American Legion Post will conduct graveside rites. Friends may call at the funeral home.
