Marian L. Martin, 88, a resident of Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury, and formerly Forrest, died at 3:21 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 22, 2009) at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
She was born in Sibley, Il. to Henry H. and Sophia Norman Frederking. She married Clarence Virgil Martin on March 17, 1937, in Fairbury, Il. He died on Aug. 31, 2008.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan (Orley) Plenert, Forrest, Il. and Maxine Stoller, Fort Myers, Florida; one son, Duane Martin, Krum, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ivan Stoller; two brothers and four sisters.
