Laurene B. Edwards, 74, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1935, in Peoria to Julius Calvin and Rosa Barbara (Stang) Seaman. She married Kenneth Bernius, and he preceded her in death. She later married George R. Edwards in Peoria in 1977. He preceded her in death in 1989 in Matagorda, Texas.
Her parents, three sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.
Laurene is survived by her four children, Rick, Lee, John and Lori; and one sister, Rosemary Gray.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
