Funeral services for Mr. James C. Boles, age 90, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2010 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery in Hilham, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.
Mr. Boles died September 29, 2010 at Livingston Regional Hosptital. He was born April 13, 1920 in Clay County to the late Jim & Sally Cox Boles. He worked as a laborer in masonry.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Survived by 4 daughters, Imogene Robbins of Monroe, Emogene Smith of Monroe, Judy Garrett of Byrdstown, & Rita Riley of Monroe; 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, & 9 great-great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Pat Breeding and Tom Speck, and a daughter-in-law, Sue Boles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Zora Boles, sons: Billy Boles, David Boles, & James Clayton Boles; daughters: Edith Breeding, Ruby Speck, & Lou Veachel Vaughn, sisters: Ballie, Mallie, Allie, Dallie, & Ruthie, and brothers: Ricie, Cordale, & Harlie.
Pallbearers to serve are Adam and Robbie Robbins, Steve Vaughn, Darrell and Joey Smith, and Dereck Garrett.
