Miss Cesalie Elizabeth Henson, age 18, 606 Haywood Valley Road, Armuchee, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 22, 2009 at a local medical center from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born in Floyd County, September 13, 1991, daughter of Chrystie Morris Henson and the late Eric Doyle Henson. She was a member of the Senior class at Armuchee High School, where she was active in several school activities. She was preceded in death by her father, Eric Doyle Henson, by her grandfather, USAF Retired MSgt. Lou Henson, and by her great grandmother, Vivian L. Brown.
Survivors include her mother, Ms. Chrystie Henson, Armuchee; grandparents, Carolyn Henson, Anniston, AL, Lynda & Daniel Bishop, Memphis, TN, and John L. and Pam Morris, Silver Creek; her great grandmother, Mrs. Sue Gass, Armuchee; her fiance', Kyle Shanks, Armuchee; many other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 3pm at The Church at Northside. The Rev. Brad Prater will officiate.
The family will receive friends at The Church at Northside on Thursday from 6 until 8pm. At other hours, they will be at the residence.
Miss Henson will be taken to the church Saturday to lie in state from 2 pm until the service hour.
Members of the Senior class at Armuchee High School will serve as honorary pallbearers and are requested to assemble at the church on Saturday at 2:30pm.
