Grant Norman Osborn, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 20, 2012.

Grant was a lifelong Hughes County resident. He was born January 31, 1931, to Jeddie Osborn and Alta (Sowell) Osborn in Wetumka, Oklahoma. He met Margie Dean Bates in 1946 and they wed March 7, 1950 in Seminole. They had two daughters, Paula Jean and Beverly Sue.

Grant farmed and ranched for 50 years with his wife, Dean. He was a member of the Hughes County Soil Conservation Board, Water Conservation Board and a member of the American Angus Association. Grant enjoyed fishing, making sausage gravy for his family.

He was also an active member of First Baptist Church in Holdenville where he served as Deacon. He also was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Wetumka. Grant throughout his life loved to share the gospel and lead others to Christ. He was proud of the fact that he brought 8 people to the Lord even while he was a resident of Heritage Village Nursing Home.
