Funeral for Ruby Rose Cross, 87, of Courtland will be Friday, April 13, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with John Howard Parker and the Rev. A.G. Simmons officiating.
Burial will be in Courtland Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cross, who died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Sunbridge Nursing Home, was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Hillsboro to the late Willis Rose and Dora Collins Rose. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Courtland Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lynn Cross; one son, Wayland Cross of Courtland; two daughters, Shelby Carlton of Killen and Ava Estes of Jackson, Tenn.; one brother, J.C. Rose of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Carlton, Phillip Cross, Scott Estes, Jerry Sprinkle, Tim Hine and Jeremy Bibbee.
