Funeral services for Noah Newton Parkhurst, 70, a native of Westville, who died Wednesday,
was conducted from the Roberts Funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the
Rev. Earl Odle, Baptist minister, officiating.
Burial was in the Baptist Mission cemetery with Roberts Funeral home directing.
Claude Jordon, Dwuane Fisher, Clifford Jones, Ray Curtis, Carl Jackson and Ernest Snyder
served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Lora Davis, Mrs. Maudie Jeffries, Mrs. Edna Jordon, Miss Christine Foreman, Mrs. Oliver
Self and Mrs. A. C. Johnson had charge of the flowers.
Music was furnished by the Lacie family with Mrs. Hazel Ladd at the piano.
Parkhurst, who was returning from Tulsa with Clifford (Pete) Jones, stopped in Siloam Springs, Ark., for coffee, suffered a heart attack and died before reaching the Memorial hospital in Siloam.
Survivors include his wife, Artie Parkhurst, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Hairgrove, Denver, Colo., two sons, Wayne Parkhurst of Siloam, D. G. Parkhurst of Westville;
