Mrs. Lydia Tiffany died on Thursday, Feb. 24 at the home of her son, John Tiffany, North Flat. Mrs. Tiffany had been ill for several years, following a stroke of apoplexy. She was a member of the Braintrim Baptist Church of Laceyville. Mrs. Tiffany is survived by her only son, John, her grandson, George and a grandaughter (Jennie's), several sisters, one Mrs. Lettie Wright of Braintrim Township, who is spending the winter in Scranton and others residing in or near Mauch Chunk, Pa.
